Specialist Adviser Service
This route allows the introducing adviser to ensure that their client is properly advised by a UK FCA regulated specialist adviser without taking any liability themselves.
Advisory firms deal with many aspects of a client's financial planning and may not have expertise in all areas. If you do not have the appropriate experience, qualifications or permissions to deal with a client's international pensions or estate planning needs you may wish to use our Specialist Adviser Service. This allows you to outsource the advice to an appropriately qualified adviser, without taking any of the advice liability yourself.
The advisers within the QB Partners Specialist Adviser service are collectively passported and have permissions to give advice in most jurisdictions around the world including Australia and the US.
QB Partners can pay you an introducer fee or pass the client back to you on completion of the outsourced advice so that you are able to manage the ongoing investments.
QB Partners will liaise with you and the client to ascertain their circumstances and objectives and identify the correct planning solution(s) for them. QB Partners will assist the client in completing the terms of engagement and fact finding documentation for the specialist adviser. The written advice will be provided by the specialist adviser and they may wish to meet with or have a telephone conference with the client .
In addition to UK regulated advisers the QB Partners Specialist Adviser Panel includes an Isle of Man regulated adviser and an EU based adviser who is able to provide MIFID II advice.
